Gil Scott Heron Live at Sugar Hill a few months ago
Been a longtime fan of this artist. I have all of his records and have spent many a Sunday listening to this cat for hours..........He transports me to a whole other dimension, one where time stops and I can block out everything going on in present day. I had the chance to witness him talk about life and tear down the stage a few months ago and it was an experience. His records are 30 years old and still relevant to this day. He predates modern HipHop,but embodies it just the same just like how H Rap Brown was rapping in the 60's. Gil Scott Heron sing,compose,play piano,recite poetry and inject comedy The true definitons of timeless and classic.
