As some of y'all know I did a stretch in Thailand a few years ago. Lovely trip but I got sick as a dog from overworking myself here to the point where when I finally got to Asia to chill, my system completely shut down. I ended up coming down with the flu all the way on the other side of the planet. It hindered the trip a little but gave my survival prowess a boost, knowing that I could survive under almost any condition anywhere in the world. That said I still had a great time and life changing experience. I found myself going to many an underground flea market in search of some good old authentic Thai shit. Having had Ong Bak a few years earlier I was in search of what other cool ass martial arts flicks they had. I ended up finding 1 called Dangerous Hero which is a totally outrageous film involving a lot of guns. I was happy with my purchase even though I should have also copped Shaolin vs Evil Dead but that's neither here nor there. Now I wake up this morning to be greeted with Ong Bak part 2. I ain't dropping links, but if you want to b pointed in the right direction holla at me.

Easily one of my favorite Mcs'. EASILY. I always fucked wit S.P the Ghost the most out of the Lox back in the day, even tho everyone else always liked Kiss. It was something about his wordplay and voice that always had me. He reminded me of them classic street cypher cats who had THAT SHIT. The ability to come in the cypher and give you some simple yet complicated metaphors that you'd have to listen to every line to really peep. It just always had that raw feel. I mean he's held his own on tracks with BIG,Jay-Z,Nas,Ghostface,Beanie Siegel and countless others. Always repped streets 1st Industry second and has the ability to hop on r and b joints without them bein corny. Matter of fact he makes the r and b joints more accessible and grounded if anything. He is a cat who's work ethic is literally unmatched when it comes to putting out new shit for the streets. I always consider it a GREAT DAY when I get some new S.P to bump in the whip. This is the definition of grit your teeth and go hard in the gym music, that good old hop out the whip and backslap the first tender hearted cat you see and tell em to straighten up. The Ghost ladies and gents is definitely for you if you need that motivation to get EXTRA.

In a NewOrleans state of mind

So I just returned from the New Orleans road trip. A beautiful journey really, more inspiration seeing people who have been wiped out putting their lives back together. New Orleans has been like a 3rd or 4th home to me for these last 10 yrs. Blame it on the food and creole women. Mardi Gras was phenomenal, saw Kid Rock and some other folks getting it in. I'm thinking about actually moving down there eventually and settling in, building something from scratch. I've got alot of love for Atlanta, but my energy here is not the same. The hey day of the late 90's early 2000's is gone. The growth hasn't been what I thought it would be. It may just be me getting more mature, ready to settle myself. I have visions of just having a boat and a fishing rod in my hand. The laptop wll be there as well just to keep me up to speed, but I'm really feeling as though I can fall back.

Now realize that the whole city did not flood and also realize that black people were not the only ones affected and left behind by the Gov't. N.O is a place that you have to experience,touch,taste,smell for yourself. No one can really describe the vibe or the feeling in the air. There is an electricity which most big and older cities have that Nawlins possesses as well. We got there Friday and almost immediately got it in with the grub. I'm talkin bout Deanies. The plate you see at the top of the page is their seafood feast. Soft Shell Crab,oysters,catfish,oysters,stuffed crawfish and more......I easily could have fallen out off of that. I mean that's the easy way to see why the high blood pressure levels are thru the roof. That's the obcene amount of food they put in front of your face at this spot.

After we left there we caught the Endymion parade and caught beads, saw titties being flashed and had ridiculous fun. I'm still getting my head together from everything so I haven't uploaded all my photos but more coming soon, just wanted to touch the blog up since it's been a minute.

FUTURE Communicado

Yeah, I know I know, what kind of lifestyle cat do I think I am without the iphone? Well I'm a blackberry owner who just can't make that transition.....I multitask with the berry too much. All in the course of having a phone call, I'll check my gmail,text wifey,mms text Lex a pic of something I just clipped and do it all with ease................plus I got a friend who works for Apple and he said if he didn't get the iphone for free he wouldn't have gotten it. That compounded with the fact that he keeps telling me the new things that they're planning to do with the "next" generation and it will pay to wait.....Shoot, dealing with cingular I wait anyway on giving over my cash. They're nothing more than just a necessary evil anyways,but if I could get something lightweight and sleek like this with all the things my blackberry does, I might make the jump.....
