MAD MAD WORLD

As y'all may know, my brother sent me a wii which is currently still in the same spot in the box on a corner of my guest room. I have wii sports which it comes with, but don't have any other games, though we'll probly get the wii fit and a mario bros game. That said I ran across this game which I DEFINITELY want to have to help me get back into gaming. Oh and your boy may be playing soccer aka football again after all these years. The Africans and the Mexicans get it in out here and I sort of miss having an organized activity. I could always hoop at the park with the fellas which I grew up doing. I always was very athletic. I played soccer for yrs, I played intramural basketball, I played highschool football, I wrestled, played baseball and softball and even roller bladed and skated. I made my own go carts with friends when we were kids and would have races....I've always been into being active, well at least up until my JR year of highschool when I was grinding differently and in a whole other zone preferring to get twisted and gamble the days away. I'm missing that activity now and will rectify it soon. That said I peeped a game that may officially make me break the wii out of the box.

Pacquiao turns 'dream fight' into nightmare for De La Hoya

LAS VEGAS -- The end for Oscar De La Hoya on this night came as he sat in the corner after the eighth round, his left eye swollen shut and his face bruised by punches Manny Pacquiao seemed able to land almost at will.

The decision to call it a night was easy. The decision to call it a career may be a lot tougher.

"My heart still wants to fight, that's for sure," De La Hoya said. "But when your physical doesn't respond, what can you do? I have to be smart and make sure I think about my future plans."

Pacquiao gave De La Hoya a lot to think about by beating and battering him around the ring for eight rounds Saturday night before De La Hoya declined to answer the bell for the ninth round. The domination was shocking enough, but the fact that it came at the hands of a fighter who just nine months earlier had been fighting at 129 pounds had to be even more troubling for De La Hoya and his legions of fans.

-That seventh round was PUNISHMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a cat who used to box on the streets of Philly,I felt bad about seeing him go out like that ughhhhhh!

We did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the old school days in Philly, the Michael Jack Shmidt era, to the Kruk-Dykstra era........and beyond. I rep Philly til Death. Eagles,Flyers,Sixers, and Phillies. We've come close plenty of times, we
ve taken serious L's and letdowns(Superbowl a couple years ago anyone), but when you taste victory in Illadelph it's especially sweet. Unfortunately I'm not up there for this, but y'know I'm celebrating the Philly way out here in ATL. Guess my Phils classic fitted is gonna shine a lil brighter.........and yes I do go back to them MAB paints hats(vintage).

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

Proud of the Flyers.......

As you've heard Joe SixPack Hockey mom Saraaaaaa Palinsky was boooooed heavily trying to drop the puck at my old hometown Philly Flyers game a couple days ago. As anyone who's ever been thru Philly knows, it's a cold city. Folks don't play at all with music or sports. With music,I can't name an act I haven't seen booed. The Fugees, boooo,Mobb Deep booo,Jeru the Damaja booooo even early Wu booooooo. They'll cuss you out in a minute. Now sports sheeeet, shows how out of touch "hockey" mom Palin is..............She should have known better to come to that city trying to inject politics into the game. Also she tried using the fans as a photo op and they showed out Philly style by boooing the bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter what city I move to or wherever I go I still rep the home teams win, mostly lose or draw....That goes for Eagles,Sixers,Flyers and Phillies. I'm proud of the fans for this one.

She's lucky her husband didnt show up...........................
